Only when you purchase API credits. The fee is the greater of 5% of the credit amount or $1.99, and is not applied again when you make API requests.
Does Kognest mark up model prices?
No. API requests deduct credits at the underlying provider's published price on a 1:1 basis.
Is there a subscription?
No. You add credits when needed and use them across supported providers and models.
All listed model and provider prices exclude the credit-purchase platform fee. Applicable taxes or payment-provider charges, if any, are shown before payment.
